Below is the story of how Richy become the first Red cedar wood fired hot tub manufacturer in China.
1.Knowing the wood fired hot tub
In early 2008, Richy receive an e-mail from a customer in Germany and another customer from Netherland who are looking for wooden hot tub with a stove. It is this new product that catches our eyes. We have never seen such a product in China, even in the trade shows. With great curiosity, our team starts looking at the possibility of finding this product in China.

2. Looking for manufacturers
After carefully research, we found one factory had made similar product and delivery one container to Norway, but there was no response after this order. We look carefully at their product picture. The product is made of pine, but the handcraft work is not good, especially when you pay attention to the details. Due to the fact that the factory is not really experienced, and it is quite far away from where we are located, which make communication and on site quality control more difficult. We decided not to cooperate with this factory.
2)Design our own wood fired hot tub
As there is no exciting factories in the local area are making this product, we decided to make it ourselves. We have found information of wood fired hot tubs from USA, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Germany, Netherland, Estonia and Lithuania. Comparing all the wood fired hot tubs available in those markets, we have made our own tub, In Oct, 2008, and our first wood fired hot tub was developed. We show our first wood fired hot tub in 104th Canton Fair, a lot of people find it interesting.
3)Product test and development
Since Nov 2008, we started test our first sample which is made of Russian Pine, it was Richy¡¯s first generation wood fired hot tub. From the winter of 2008 to the spring of 2009, our engineer keep bathing in our first wood fired hot tub every other day, a lot of data was collected. In April 2009, right before 105th Canton Fair, we have made Richy¡¯s second generation of wood fired hot tub.

As more researches were done and we become more and more experience, we find that Red Cedar is the most suitable wood for wood fired hot tub, then our third generation of wood fired hot tub was born in June 2009.
5)Our goal
As our company and our hot tubs become more and more popular among customers, we have received a lot suggestions and ideas for new hot tub development. In the near future we will develop more and more hot tubs with different functions.
